About the Ministry

We live in an age of dynamism. Our world is being rocked by all manner of millenial change in arenas political, socio-economic, entrepreneurial, environmental, and so on. Millions are still trudging along the path of misery, addiction and despondence. Countless others are entangled in shackles, languishing in the deep sea of despair and hopelessness.

Surely it was for this cause that Jesus came... and commissioned.

In the wake of addressing such modern realities, this ministry was born. It is a registered non-profit organization that views the global community as a massive salvation and discipleship project. By combining the facets of the Biblical five-fold ministry, we believe that the task of investing in the lives of millions of human beings chosen from before the foundations of the worldcan be fully accomplished. We hold this with conviction in our hearts for it is a worthwhile undertaking.

In Alpha Missions we envision reaching out to the nations with the living Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. To this end, resources are being channelled into endeavours and initiatives that facilitate world evangelism and discipling of converts. This is the end-time task to which we have been commissioned with ministers committed to seeing the achievement of its objectives in this hour.

The ministry brings together men and women in whom the life of God and zeal for the Kingdom burns alive. These are simple individuals and groups from varying walks of life, unified by the common agenda of reaching a dying world for God. We believe in the divine arrangement of spiritual giftings and offices in the Body of Christ that contributes to the common initiative of seeing our world transformed by the power of the Holy Spirit.

In the pursuit of this worthy dream, increasing numbers have been joining as partners, intercessors and co-workers through the impression of the Holy Spirit. This is not the task of a selected minority. Field indicators continue to reveal that the harvest is still plentiful and the labourers very few. Global evangelism and discipleship is a collaborative venture and the concept of Alpha Missions has been construed with these aims in focus.

Our conviction is that mankind stands at the very threshold of change. The entire planet and every race in humanity is experiencing a major shift as the return of the Lord Jesus Christ draws near. This has been reflected on every sphere known to man. It will continue to do so.

Together, we can venture to sow into the lives of multitudes around the world the critical message of eternal reconciliation with God.

In preparing a generation to usher the imminent return of our Lord Jesus Christ, each believer who avails themselves or their support are actually engaging a destiny that outlives time. And as this age come into its prophetic conclusion, you too can become part of this vision. If you feel led to do so, you could team up, rallying together with untold multitudes around the world to wage an eschatological confrontation against the domain of darkness.

Remember we have all been called to ravage its defenses, to deliver millions of captives from its hideaous dungeons and to establish the Kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ; raising the banner of life and spiritual liberty in our nation and world.

The Mandate

Ever since the fall of man at the Garden of Eden, sin and bondage entered into the world and have been at the heart of the struggles he faces in daily life to improve himself. With it came captivity to the works of the prince of darkness. The spiritual consequences of this are real, they corrupt and have outlived all religiosity, cover-ups, denials, excuses, and redefinitions. However 1 John 3:8 declares that: For this cause the Son of God was manifested; to destroy the works of the devil.

Regrettably, many have become content with simply following religious routines, having been erroneously taught that a combination of certain pious activities and adherence to programs are enough to see them through into a life of victory and fulfillment. After years of struggles and repetitive failures, they eventually come to ask themselves whether there is really more to this life than meets the eye. They seem to stagnate in their spiritual walk, disturbing events they have no answers for haunt them constantly, while victory appears to become only a foggy myth.

• We believe in the mandate of the liberation of individuals from the power of sin as a result of the Adamic nature (Isaiah 45:13, 61:1-3; Galatians 5:24; Romans 8:12; Colossians 2:11).

• We also believe in the liberation of individuals from the captivity of the devil and from all forms of demonic bondage including poverty, occultism, evil inheritance, infirmities, curses, dedications, and many others (Hebrews 2:14; Isaiah 45:13; 1 John 3:8, 2:14; Luke 4:18-20).

The Vision

• To advance a five-fold ministry as well as to work with and support such genuine initiatives (Ephesians 4:11-12). Alpha Missions Deliverance and Healing Ministry endeavours to establish believers in the solid foundation of the Word of God so that their faith can thrive, and they can attain full maturity in the things of God.

• To labour toward fulfilling the Great Commission delivered by our Lord Jesus Christ to His disciples in advancing the living message of the Gospel of His Kingdom to the uttermost parts of the earth (Mark 16:15-16).

• To raise and promote missionary endeavours within and beyond the nation (Matthew 28:18-20; Colossians 4:7-8; Ephesians 6:21-22).

• To maintain wholesome teaching that consents to the sound doctrine of the Holy Bible (1 Timothy 6:3-5; Hebrews 4:12).

• To expound the subject of healing and deliverance and to help raise others in such missions (Matthew 10:1,8).

• To establish and develop rehabilitation centres for street children and orphans (Deuteronomy 14:29; Mark 9: 36-37).

• To deliver sound teaching through literature (including books), audio and video tapes and through the media (2 Timothy 3:26-4:2; 1 Corinthians 2:13).

• To establish and conduct Bible seminars, forums, conferences, workshops, rallies, conventions for the cause of the Gospel of the Kingdom of God (Revelation 14:6-7; Romans 1:16-17).

Upcoming Projects

We are in the process of compiling material for a series of books which will cover a wide range of topics on spiritual liberation and life. They include messages and subject matter that has been taught through the ministry in bible schools, conferences, seminars as well as other forums in East Africa and beyond.
